So, what are Cannabinoids and CBD?

Endocannabinoid means “cannabinoid inside”; that’s right, your body and every mammalian body produces cannabinoids and has an innate system that responds to them.  Found primarily in the central nervous system, digestive system, and immune system, we are discovering more and more about the cannabinoid system in your body every day.  What we know so far is that there are over 113 different cannabinoids, two different kinds of receptors, and an infinite number of functions that they serve.

What Is It, Why Should I Take It, What Will It Do?

CBD: A User’s Definition

CBD stands for Cannabidiol. Cannabidiol is one of the active cannabinoids identified in the Cannabis Sativa plant. It is a major phytocannabinoid (phytocannabinoid is the name for cannabinoids that occur naturally in plants), accounting for up to 40% of the plant’s extract. Cannabinoids (CBD and THC among many others) are one group of chemical compounds found within the Cannabis plant that provide therapeutic and supportive effects when consumed.
