EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT WHAT'S IN OUR PREMIUM BLEND RECOVERY CBD OIL

INGREDIENTS:

BROAD SPECTRUM HEMP EXTRACT

Our broad spectrum hemp extract carries the Otherside seal of approval, this means; it has been carefully sourced through a combination of research into the most reputable hemp farms worldwide and the use of our long reaching network built over the years as a pioneer of the industry

The Hemp is grown 100% organically and is non-GMO and pesticide free. It is processed using the cleanest and most up to date methods and is quality tested to assure superior standards by our in-house and by 3rd party lab teams.  Assuring only the purest and highest standard extract.

The CBD is extracted using a cryogenic ethanol extraction process followed by a combination of short path, wiped film and fractional distillation to produce our final high-quality distillate.

We then infuse our distillate in C8 MCT oil, which is extracted from sustainably sourced coconuts.

C8 MCT OIL

If you’re not already familiar, medium chain triglycerides, or MCT, are a form of saturated fatty acids extracted from coconuts or palm oil. As Cannabinoids are fat soluble using MCT oil allows for a relatively rapid release and better absorption.

One of the benefits of using C8 MCT oil is that the shorter carbon chain means it is more easily absorbed and transported throughout the body and can be used as an instant source of energy to fuel the brain.

This means you’ll reap the positive benefits of our CBD oil much faster.

TURMERIC ESSENTIAL OIL

Our next ingredient Turmeric is grown predominantly in South Asian countries and is known for its powerful anti-bacterial properties due to a substance called curcumin.

Curcumin is a known bactericidal, anti-fungal, anti-viral and anti-inflammatory. It also contains stronger anti-oxidants than vitamin E. These are said to provide the skin with incredible benefits including increased skin radiance, reduction in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and decreased pore size. It is also beneficial for acne prone skin. A strong relaxant and balancer, Turmeric is also effective for treatment of muscular pain.

GINGER ESSENTIAL OIL

Ginger is a flowering plant that originated in Southeast Asia. It’s among the healthiest (and most delicious) spices on the planet. Gingerol is the main bioactive compound in ginger. It’s responsible for much of ginger’s medicinal properties.

Gingerol has powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects, according to research. For instance, it may help reduce oxidative stress, which is the result of having an excess amount of free radicals in the body.

Cinnamon Essential Oil

To partner Turmeric & Ginger, we have chosen another spice from South East Asia, now mostly cultivated and produced in Sri Lanka. Cinnamon is known to contain some of the highest levels of antioxidants including polyphenols compared to any other spices.

Your body can use antioxidants like these to help fight potential harmful invaders, including cancer-causing free radicals. Lab studies have also found that cinnamon can reduce inflammation, helps to fight bacteria, improve circulation and has pain killing properties that may reduce the symptoms of rheumatism.

BLACK PEPPER EXTRACT

Next black pepper is added, it contains the bioactive compound piperine, which is an alkaloid like capsaicin, the active component found in chili powder and cayenne pepper.

Piperine has been shown to help relieve nausea, headaches and poor digestion and also has anti-inflammatory properties. Still, its most significant benefit may be its ability to boost the absorption of curcumin.

Unfortunately, the curcumin in turmeric is poorly absorbed into the bloodstream. As a result, you could be missing out on its advantages to health. However, adding black pepper can help. Research supports that combining the piperine in black pepper with the curcumin in turmeric enhances curcumin absorption by up to 2,000%

Premium Cannabis Derived Terpenes

Finally, to maximise the medicinal potential of these individual compounds we add terpenes derived from the cannabis plant. This encourages what scientists refer to as the “entourage effect” which magnifies the therapeutic benefits of the plant’s individual components—so that the total medicinal impact of the finished product is greater than the sum of its parts.
