Soil To Oil - Otherside CBD Oil

Everything you need to know about what's in our CBD Oils

OTHERSIDE BROAD SPECTRUM HEMP EXTRACT

Our broad spectrum hemp extract carries the Otherside seal of approval, this means it has been carefully sourced through a combination of research into the most reputable hemp farms worldwide and the use of our long reaching network built over the years as a pioneer of the industry

The Hemp is grown 100% organically and is non-GMO and pesticide free. It is processed using the cleanest and most up to date methods and is quality tested to assure superior standards by our in-house and by 3rd party lab teams.  Assuring only the purest and highest standard extract.

The CBD is extracted using a cryogenic ethanol extraction process followed by a combination of short path, wiped film and fractional distillation to produce our final high-quality distillate.

We then infuse our distillate in C8 MCT oil, which is extracted from coconuts.

C8 MCT OIL

If you’re not already familiar, medium chain triglycerides (MCT) are a form of saturated fatty acids extracted from coconuts or palm oil. As Cannabinoids are fat soluble using MCT oil allows for a relatively rapid release and better absorption.

One of the benefits of using C8 MCT oil is that the shorter carbon chain means it is more easily absorbed and transported throughout the body and can be used as an instant source of energy to fuel the brain.

This means you’ll reap the positive benefits of our CBD oil much faster.

CANNABIS DERIVED TERPENES

To complete our house blend oil we added a special blend of cannabis derived terpenes to give it its unique flavour and aroma. Recent studies have also proven they have numerous health benefits.

Terpenes (and terpenoids) are aromatic organic hydrocarbons found in many plants. If you’ve ever caught a whiff of sage, lavender, or cannabis, you’ve smelled terpenes at work. The fragrant molecules are what give plants, flowers, and trees their wide range of scents, from earthy and floral to citrusy, and it turns out they’re also good for your health. Experts say the emotional and physical benefits of certain terpenes can be felt when using essential oils which include these compounds.

Certain terpenes in nature have been associated with a boost in emotional well-being. The sweet, floral terpene linalool, for instance, found in lavender, has a calming, sedative effect. Limonene, a terpene found in citrus fruits and peppermint, has a mood-elevating effect, while pinene, found in sage and conifers has been shown to aid in alertness and memory retention.

Our blend is designed to give you everything your mind and body need.
